Land Snakes of Medical Significance in Malaysia published by Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM). Guinea Pigs or “Cavies” are docile, easily alarmed and inclined to be quite independent if not handled frequently. Being nocturnal (active at night and sleep during the day), they prefer subdued lighting and a room temperature ranging between 18-23 degrees Celsius therefore they are indoor pets.

Normal average pregnancy for dogs lasts between 64-66 days but, the apparent length of pregnancy assessed from the time of mating may vary between 56 and 72 days since both early and late matings may be fertile.

Non-pedigree or moggie cats are usually very fertile and give birth with very few problems but there are occasions where complications do occur. The queen (mother cat) has multiple oestrous cycle (able to have kittens) mainly from February to September. Female cats usually exhibit their first oestrus cycle between 6 to 12 months of age.
