The Ti-Ratana Project – The Miracle of Animal Assisted Therapy in Malaysia
In 2006, a plea to save 45 dog from facing euthanasia at the Puchong Pound spurred the Animal Medical Centre to step in and lend a helping hand. These dogs were given a new leash on life and placed with their new family at the Ti-Ratana centre.
However to enable the children at the home to continue to look after the dogs, they had to be tested for disease and given proper medical care as they were all strays. Knowing this the Animal Medical Centre sponsored the vaccinations for all the dogs.
